VMO continues retail rollout with install of Dress Smart shopping centres across New Zealand. 

Auckland, New Zealand – VMO has won the exclusive media rights across Dress Smart in New Zealand, further expanding its rapidly growing retail media network. 

The centres are the country’s original and leading outlet shopping destinations. The Onehunga, Auckland centre has recently been upgraded, while the Christchurch centre remains a key retail hub for the region.  

Both centres are high-footfall destinations, hosting a mix of national and international retail and fashion brands and collectively attracting more than 5.5 million Kiwis annually.

These centres have increased VMO’s total number of retail locations contracted to 28, with further growth planned over the coming year. 

The rollout of the screens commenced ahead of the busy Christmas and New Year period, last year, with the centres collectively hitting record foot traffic with 400,000+ shoppers through the doors in the month of December.

VMO first launched its retail media network in August 2024 and has built strong retail media presence across major cities, including Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, as well as regional centres.  

VMO’s retail network now encompasses over 170 digital screens across approximately 30% of retail locations in New Zealand.
