Auckland, New Zealand – OOHMAA has refreshed its board, bringing a sharp mix of Out of Home leaders together as the sector keeps building momentum across New Zealand.

The Out of Home Media Association of Aotearoa’s new line-up includes returning board members Kelly Harvey of oOh!media, Phil Eastwood of JCDecaux and Brad Morgan of QMS.

They are joined by new appointments Frank Costello of GO Media, Phil Clemas of LUMO and Rob Forsyth of VMO, with Forsyth also stepping into the Board Secretary role.

Independent Chair Paul Maher says the new appointments reflect both the momentum behind the category and the direction the wider industry is moving in.

“The addition of Frank, Phil and Rob alongside Kelly, Phil and Brad brings together deep experience from across the sector at an important time for the industry,” said Maher."

“Having leaders of this calibre helping guide the next chapter of OOHMAA is incredibly important as Out of Home continues to evolve and strengthen as a channel.”

“The launch of knOOH has been an important step forward for the sector, giving agencies and advertisers greater insight into how Out of Home is performing. There’s a strong sense of alignment across the industry right now and that collective approach will be important as the category continues to evolve.”

Maher also acknowledged outgoing board members Mike Gray, Jack Plowright and Alf Jamison, recognising the role each has played in helping shape OOHMAA’s progress.

“Mike, Jack and Alf have all made a significant contribution to the industry and to OOHMAA over a number of years. Their work has helped shape the momentum and progress the sector is experiencing today.”
