VMO wins the exclusive media rights to five shopping centres across New Zealand.
Auckland, New Zealand – VMO has won the exclusive media rights across five retail centres in New Zealand in a competitive tender, further cementing its position as a leader in the country's growing retail media space. Part of the Colliers managed portfolio, the new locations include Hunters Plaza in Auckland, Papamoa Plaza in Tauranga, and Richmond Mall in Nelson. In addition, VMO now holds exclusive rights across all screen formats at Highbury Mall in Auckland and Barrington Mall in Christchurch—building on the large-format screen rights it announced earlier this year.
Each centre is a high-footfall destination, anchored by a major supermarket and supported by a mix of national retailers, attracting a broad and diverse range of Kiwi shoppers, with more than 18 million shoppers per annum visiting the centres.*

The rollout of the path to purchase reach screens and the large format network will commence in July 2025, with the first centre being Hunters Plaza in Auckland.
Since launching its New Zealand retail media network in August 2024, VMO has built a strong retail media presence across major cities, including Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch and regional locations.
